We’re incredibly proud of High School students Aamiran and Araceli for representing our school as panelists at this year’s Collaborative Educators Summit!

The summit brought together educators, business leaders, industry partners, nonprofits, and students for meaningful conversations centered around this year’s theme: Applied Curiosity / Adapting Together.

These rising seniors had the opportunity to share their perspectives, ideas, and experiences alongside professionals from across Central New York. Their voices and insights are a powerful reminder of the importance of giving young people a seat at the table and creating opportunities for them to help shape the future of education and our community.

Teacher Feature: Ms. Mackey! 🧪

At High School, learning science is anything but boring, and Ms. Mackey is a big reason why! She's an extraordinary science teacher who believes the best way to learn is to experience science firsthand. From reptiles to candy and everything in between, her labs are always fun, interactive, and designed to engage and excite students about learning.

But what makes Ms. Mackey truly special goes beyond the science lab. She takes the time to build genuine relationships with her students, getting to know them as individuals and connecting with them on a personal level. Her classroom is a place where students feel seen, supported, and encouraged to explore.

Her love for science is obvious, and that enthusiasm is contagious. She brings curiosity, energy, and a sense of wonder into her classroom every day.

Thank you, Ms. Mackey, for bringing science to life and making such a positive impact on our ! We are proud to have you as part of the SAS family!

🚫 No practice on Sundays
