nce with some of these unexpected costs, including special equipment, doctor and drug co-pays, travel, car repairs and phone expenses. Meal Cards: The Jonathan Cancer Fund feels that well-fed parents are better caretakers for themselves and their child. A visit to the cafeteria also gives the family a much- needed respite. A meal card is available to the family when a child is an inpatient at Golisano Children’s Hospital. Phone Cards: It is important for parents to be able to call family members to keep them updated on their child's prognosis and treatment.
