May is National Bike Month. Come celebrate this Sunday morning at the first Cycle in the City of the year!

Our Cycle in the City program offers a free monthly guided bicycle ride through our city streets, parks and trails. These slow-paced, casual rides are approximately 10-12 miles long, and drop-in riders are welcome to join.

If you're a new or casual rider, Cycle in the City is a great way to acclimate yourself to a variety of bike lanes, trails and city streets.

All rides begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Onondaga Creekwalk's Armory Square trailhead. Route maps will be provided.

Children under 18 must be accompanied with an adult throughout the duration of the ride. Helmets are required for all riders.

Honoring innovation that changed sports history, right here in Syracuse!

Mayor Sharon F. Owens joined Parks Commissioner Syeisha Byrd, Councilor Donna Moore, and Councilor Marty Nave to celebrate the relocation of the iconic 24‑Second Shot Clock Monument to its new home with our community partner, the Museum of Science & Technology - MOST.

We were honored to welcome members of the Biasone, Barboni, and Ferris families as we recognized the groundbreaking contributions of Danny Biasone, Emil Barboni, and Leo Ferris — innovators whose vision helped transform the game of basketball.
