8/13/26 12:11 Lift Assist

Truck 30 responded to Buckeye Ln and May St to assist Medic 7 in removing a patient from the second floor of a structure and outside to the cot. 3 units responded.

8/14/26 08:41 Car in Water

Rescue 35, Truck 30, and our back water boat responded to Rt 733 and Wills Hill for reports of a vehicle that was suck in high water. Upon arrival no vehicle was found. A near by homeowner reported the car was able to get out. Units remained on scene until ODOT arrived on scene to close the roadway. OSP responded. 6 units responded.

7/14/26 09:21 Motorcycle Crash

Rescue 35 and Engine 34 responded to reports of a motorcycle crash near Forrest Run and Johnson Rd. Upon arrival crews found a low speed motorcycle crash and units controlled traffic for a short time before returning to quarters. Medic 5 responded and the owner had the bike removed from the scene. 3 units responded.

7/14/26 21:41 Structure Fire

Racine and Syracuse Fire was alerted for a structure fire on Bald K**b- Stiversville Rd for reports of a structure fire. Bashan FD was alerted shortly after. As Engine 34 was responding units were cancelled and dispatch advised it was a control burn. 6 units were on Engine 34 at cancelation with 2 units enroute to the scene.

Update: road is open as of 7am

‼️‼️‼️🚨🚨🚨🚨State route 124 in Syracuse is closed until further notice. Large tree is blocking the roadway between Snowball Hill Rd and Bridgeman St. You will need to use an alternative route this morning.🚨🚨🚨🚨‼️‼️‼️

6/22/26 16:00 Pursuit Assistance

Meigs County Sheriffs Dept. requested boat assistance for a subject who went over the river bank. Truck 30, Rescue 35 and Boat 3 responded and launched at the Pomeroy Levee. Units dropped 2 deputies off on the riverbank where it was too steep to descend for their search. Rescue 35 retrieved a thermal imager from Pomeroy Fire Dept for the deputies. Boat 3 returned the deputies back to the levee at the conclusion of the search. 4 units responded.

6/23/26 1029 CO Alarm

Engine 34 responded to Bridgeman St in Syracuse for reports of a CO alarm. Units were flagged down on College Rd where the call location was. Units used a gas detector to scan the single gas appliance, crawl space, and gas storage tanks but found no readable level of CO. Units turned off the gas and advised the homeowner to change batteries in CO detector and to have gas line inspected prior to use. 2 units responded.

6/15/36 0033 MVC

Rescue 35, Engine 34, and Truck 30 responded to and MVC that involved a telephone pole on Pine Grove Rd. in Sutton Twp. Units arrived on scene to find a vehicle that had left the roadway striking a culvert and resting on a power pole. The vehicles power was disconnected and units maintained traffic until cleared by OSP. 6 Units responded and AEP was on scene.

6/15/26 0135 Tree Down

While enroute to the prior MVC call units came across a tree that had fallen, blocking one lane on Pine Grove Rd. After being cleared of the MVC units returned to remove the tree.
