Informational Session for Potential Candidates Monday Night!

Come to the Syracuse Police Department on Monday, August 17th at 5 p.m. and meet members of our department to learn about the hiring process, and find out what the Syracuse Police Department has to offer.

There has never been a better time to join. At the session you will learn about the exam fees being waived, our competitive benefits package, and the $10,000 bonus!

We are located at 1153 West Fayette Street. No need to sign up, just come to the visitor entrance of our building.

📚Today’s Back-to-School Traffic Safety Event was all about giving families a chance to learn and practice important safety skills before the school year begins. 🚌🚸

One mom who attended with her four children told us, “We had the best day here.” Another family said having their children practice getting on and off a school bus safely in a controlled environment was a wonderful idea, and a great experience for their kids.

That’s exactly why we do this. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful to the many community partners and first responders who showed up today, bringing their time, expertise and commitment to keeping our children safe. Seeing so many organizations come together around one mission was pretty special.

We’re also thankful to our local media for coming out and helping us take these important back-to-school traffic safety messages beyond today’s event and into homes throughout our community.

School will be back in session before we know it. Please slow down, stay alert, watch for children, and remember: keeping kids safe is something all of us can help do. 🚌🚦❤️

🚗👶 LOCAL CAR SEAT CHECKS COMING UP!

The Town of Manlius Police Department and local Child Passenger Safety technicians have several upcoming opportunities to make sure your child’s car seat is installed and being used correctly.

✅ Have your car seat checked by a trained technician and make sure your littlest passengers are riding safely!

Can’t make one of these dates? The Town of Manlius Police Department also offers free child safety seat inspections by appointment. Call 315-682-2212 and ask to speak with a car seat technician.
