π§Έ KIDS WILL BE KIDS.
They touch everything.
They crawl on the floor.
They play in the dirt.
They put their hands in their mouths.
They investigate every corner adults forgot existed. π
And that's exactly what they're supposed to do.
Children shouldn't have to think about lead dust. That's our job.
Lead dust can be hard to see, and young children may be exposed through normal everyday activities, especially in homes where lead-based paint is present and deteriorating.
Our job as adults isn't to stop children from exploring their world.
It's to make that world safer for them to explore. π
π Learn about potential lead hazards in your home.
𧽠Wet-clean dusty surfaces and windowsills.
πͺ Pay attention to deteriorating painted surfaces.
πΆ Talk with your child's healthcare provider about lead testing.
π Ask for help when you need it.
Because kids have much more important things to worry about...
Crayons. Cartoons. Playtime. And who stole their snack. πποΈ
We'll handle the lead-safety part.
Lead poisoning is preventable.
