Happy Friday! ☀️ We are wrapping up our week of flashbacks with one final look back at the incredible impact of last year’s Day of Caring, featuring segments from Bridge Street on NewsChannel 9.
Today, we are highlighting the volunteer team from SRC, Inc. at the Museum of Science & Technology - MOST! Their crew tackled important interior projects and rolled up their sleeves to help paint the 455-foot "Powered by Wonder" mural, designed by Tommy Lincoln, located behind The MOST. As Syracuse’s longest mural, it stands as a stunning addition to Armory Square, celebrating STEAM education and inspiring local youth to explore, invent, and imagine.
📣 Agency Registration NOW OPEN! The United Way of Central New York's annual Day of Caring returns August 6th! We invite all nonprofits throughout the greater Onondaga County area to post your volunteer needs on www.VolunteerCNY.org, now!
Whether you need help with grounds cleanup, painting, room organizing, food service, or something else entirely, this is your chance to capitalize on the spirit of community giving. Each year, this event grows. Last year, over 1,300 individuals volunteered in a single day! As a result, participating agencies gained lasting corporate partnerships and dedicated, returning volunteers.
If you haven’t joined us before, make this the year you become part of Central New York’s largest community-wide day of volunteering. United, we do more!
