You’re invited to join us for CSM Abby West Organizational Day 2026 on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from 9:00 AM–2:30 PM at Camp Murray.
This event is open to all Soldiers, Airmen, Veterans, federal and state civilian employees, and their families. Come celebrate the broad mission and functionality across the Washington Military Department while strengthening the connection between our military and the communities we serve.
📅 Date: Wednesday, September 2, 2026
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM–2:30 PM
📍 Location: Camp Murray — extending from Bldg. 91 across the parade field into Bldg. 33
🔐 Important Base Access Information:
If you do not have a DoD-issued ID (such as a CAC), you must obtain a temporary visitor pass at the Visitor Control Center adjacent to the Camp Murray Main Gate.
To expedite entry, pre-registration is required at least 48 hours prior to arrival.

🎒 BACKPACK FAIR — AUGUST 22! 🇺🇸

We are proud to partner with The Marysville American Legion Post 178 and many other amazing community organizations and military and veteran supporters to bring a special Backpack Fair to families throughout the Northern Puget Sound area!
📚 Backpacks & school supplies will be distributed to help local students get ready for a successful school year.

🇺🇸 Open to ALL Military & Veterans

⏰ 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

We want to give a very special thank-you to the Tacoma Elks, Puyallup Elks, Pinch of Love, Tacoma VFW Post #969, and Armed Forces Bank for showing up and supporting our backpack event!
From volunteering their time and helping with setup to making contributions that helped make this event possible, your generosity and dedication truly made a difference. 🙌
And a special THANK YOU to Armed Forces Bank for bringing breakfast for our hardworking volunteers! ☕🥐❤️ Taking care of the people who were taking care of our community meant so much!
To ALL of our volunteers, we cannot thank you enough for your time, energy, and heart. It takes an entire community coming together to make an event like this a huge success, and you all showed exactly what community is about.
