Our focus: Refining food resource tools for the first half of our assembly,
and the second half will be planning a community-owned food truck for
the food desert areas we want to focus on.
Overview:
Project assembly serves as an invitation for all our community members the unhoused members and immigrants who call the Pierce County area and spaces home. Let’s engage, learn, and share valuable insights and action plans related to climate change and its impacts on our health, environment, and communities. We recognize that climate change affects us all, especially the most vulnerable among us—immigrants and those experiencing homelessness. This will be a space for those voices to be heard and possible solutions discussed.
