We’re honored to share that the National Association for Election Officials (Election Center) has awarded the Pierce County Auditor’s Office its Independence Award for Outstanding Service and Accessibility! 🎉

The award recognizes our signature‑update outreach campaign, which launched after the 2024 Presidential Election to help reduce signature‑related ballot challenges among young voters.

Need election assistance? Here's what you need to know:

❌ Libraries no longer provide voter registration or other full voter services.

✅ Libraries can still help registered voters print a replacement ballot if their original ballot was lost or damaged. Simply use a public computer to log in to VoteWA.gov and print your ballot. This is a self-service option.

🦝 Election Day is just one week away, and Jimothy has an important reminder: Use a ballot drop box!

Ballot drop boxes are convenient, secure, and guaranteed on time when your ballot is returned by 8 p.m. on August 4. Pierce County has 57 official ballot drop boxes open 24/7 through Election Day, including seven new locations this year.

If you choose to mail your ballot, remember that the day you mail it may not be the day it's postmarked. If you're mailing within a week of Election Day, visit your local post office and request a manual postmark at the counter.
