Hello HotShot Family! We are one week away from our Battalion Organizational Day!

On August 13, from 11a-3p we will be at The American Lake Tall Firs Pavilion for fun, food, and community!

Pie your leaders or plunge them into a frigid dunk tank! Find some tasty treats at the bake sale, and compete in the Sentinel Games!

Drinks, ice cream, baked goods all available for sale and proceeds go directly to the ball fund!
Plus, Pie in the Face auction! Who wants to miss a good pie in the face? Proceeds again go directly to the ball fund!

Before heading into the weekend, we were able to continue the trend of recognizing the future leaders of the Army. Our Armorer, Specialist Hernandez, was promoted to Sergeant yesterday! We are fortunate enough to share this milestone with SGT Hernandez and his family prior to his departure this fall. Very excited to have such a talented and dedicated Soldier join the Corps of Noncomissioned Officers! HOTSHOTS!

Last week we got the chance to recognize the leadership potential in our organization, appointing our Promotable, BLC complete Specialists to Corporals! Very excited to formally recognize the future leaders in our organization. HOTSHOTS!

The Hotshots recently completed combat focused physical training with events oriented on the D-Day landings on mainland Europe over 77 years ago. The training allowed the company to incorporate new members, learn more about our Army’s history, and build esprit de corps in the organization. Hotshots!

The Hotshots participated in Readiness Day activities at the JBLM shotgun complex on May 5, 2021. The Soldiers all shot a round of trap and held discussions on equal opportunity. Later in the afternoon, members of the detachment participated in a leaders professional development session at the Lewis Army Museum on the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir. Hotshots!
