Little Free Library #16488

Little Free Library #16488 The previous owners of my house built this LFL. Multiple schools nearby - so high demand with the kids too.

It’s an active LFL - users are: people from the church nearby, farmers market go-ers, and people jogging or walking their dogs.

There has been a little damage to the little free library. 😞 Books will be drenched this winter. Gotta figure out a fix!

I want to highlight another LFL #105791 down the street from me on 27th... “Black History is Our History” (read the placard) LFL full of books. This is super clever and a great way to educate and make books available to all. I couldn’t find their FB page but if anybody knows it, send it my way. This LFL is way better than mine... I have total RESPECT.

I am sending a few of these out to Little Free Libraries in Virginia, Georgia, Vermont, Illinois, California, Nevada and of course Pullman, Washington. I put a little note in the front of them from my LFL. It’s a true story of something that happened here in Tacoma. I am hoping to hear back from people across the country. I know a movie is coming out about this soon.

Well... the wreath and lights didn’t last long. 😞 Human beings disappoint me. I wondered if they would and hoped they wouldn’t. I guess I’m done with the cutesy stuff in the library - back to just books only. I even supported the Boy Scouts with that wreath. Hopefully they grow up to be better human beings...

I am not mad somebody took my whole thing of dog treats in less than 24 hours ... let’s hope they don’t take the matchin...

I am not mad somebody took my whole thing of dog treats in less than 24 hours ... let’s hope they don’t take the matching wreath that I got for my door to my home and door to my library. Hope the dog biscuit taker was really in need. Tis’ the season to not be jerks or to be mad at jerks.

It appears people have been trick or treating at my little library and it’s been emptied out... if you have any books to give away, please bring them if you are nearby or send them or bring them to me at work! We have a festival in the neighborhood on Halloween and I don’t want my library to look so pathetic... and empty.

The little library now has a doggy water dish for pet owners that like to walk their dog past the library... 🐶🌞💧📚
