☀️ Your input could help shape the future of the Key Peninsula!

You may have heard about the solar field at the Purdy Transfer Station. The energy generated by the project will create a benefit for the Key Peninsula community through the Key Peninsula Community Benefit Fund.

County Planning & Public Works is now asking the community how those funds/credits should be used. There are several possibilities, including:

💡 Energy Assistance for Individuals – helping low-income residents with energy bills.

🔋 Energy Independence for the Community – funding solar panels, battery backup systems, or other energy projects for community buildings or nonprofits.

And there are several other options to consider!

Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts through the survey by October 10. Your input will help determine how these resources can best benefit Key Peninsula families, residents, and community organizations.
