🌟 Excellence in Education Awards 🌟

Last night, we had the honor of celebrating the Excellence in Education Awards, and we are proud to share that five Ford staff members were recognized for their outstanding dedication to students and families!

Congratulations to Mrs. Nguyen, Mrs. Hawkins, and Ms. Watson on this well-deserved recognition. 🎉
A special shoutout also goes to Ms. Cathy and Ms. June, who received the award but are not pictured.

🎲✨ What a fantastic Family Game Night! ✨🎲

Last week's Game Night was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and quality time spent together as a school community. It was wonderful to see so many families enjoying games, making memories, and connecting with one another.

A special thank you goes to Mr. Wilson for organizing such an amazing event. Your hard work and dedication helped create a fun and welcoming evening for everyone, and we truly appreciate all the effort that went into making it a success!

Thank you to all the families who joined us. We loved seeing everyone having so much fun, and we look forward to more opportunities to come together as a community!

The Harlem Wizards are coming to town! May 8th 7 pm at Franklin Pierce HS. If you haven’t seen them before, they’re a traveling basketball entertainment team known for their incredible skills, hilarious tricks, crowd interaction, and family-friendly fun. It’s not just a game—it’s a full experience that brings schools and communities together.

Ford Middle School is keeping plastic film out of landfills with Ridwell this spring! To participate in this limited-time recycling drive and celebrate Earth Month, bring plastic film (ziptop bags, grocery bags, bubble wrap, and lots more) to school on April 23rd and Ridwell will make sure it stays out of landfills. It’ll be turned into new decking materials instead! Start collecting plastic film at home now so you have a bunch for the drive.

You can help the school earn plastic-film pickups for the entire ‘26/’27 school year if 10 new members join Ridwell Pickups or Mail-in through our school’s webpage by May 22.
