Level 3 Evacuations - GO NOW evacuation notice for homes between SR 162 and S. Prairie Rd. E, west to Emery Ave N. PPierce County Sheriff's Officeis going door-to-door to notify people in the area.

Level 2 Evacuations - BE SET evacuation notice for homes south of SR 162, east of Rainier Ave. SE to Veteran's Park. Please be prepared to evacuate at a moment’s notice.

DO NOT WALK OR DRIVE through moving water or on flooded roadways. IF DRIVING, do not drive around a barricade or on closed roads.

Tonight two PCYD members, Treasurer Bronwyn Clarke for Parks and Vote Alisa Lee, were sworn in for six-year terms on the Parks Tacoma Board of Commissioners. When’s the last time Pierce County had multiple serving on an elected board or council at the same time?! 🤩🥳

LYAC is the official nonpartisan youth advisory body to the Legislature and consists of 24 geographically, ideologically and socioeconomically diverse students ages 14-18. The group ensures the interests and opinions of young people are heard and taken into consideration in the legislative process.
