The Gardens’ 3rd-floor dining room remodel is officially complete, and we celebrated in style with a resident and staff party. From pizza and non-alcoholic beer to racing tattoos and classic candy ci******es, it was a fantastic trip down memory lane!

While the construction required some patience, the result—a bright, open space with plenty of room to move—was well worth the wait. We are so happy to see our residents already making themselves at home in this beautiful new space.

A huge thank you to our community for their patience during this transformation!

At Cascade Park Gardens, we believe in honoring every stage of our residents' journeys. Today, our team established a new tradition to acknowledge the passing of those in our care and to support the staff who cared for them so deeply.

Because our mission is to allow residents to age in place, our team is often present during life’s final transition. While this is a great privilege, it is also an emotional journey for our caregivers.

By sharing stories and releasing memorial balloons, we have created a space for our staff to come together in remembrance. We hope this ritual provides a meaningful path toward healing while celebrating the lives of the special individuals we were fortunate enough to serve.

We live on a planet where whales sing songs that travel for miles. Where trees can recognize their own offspring and protect them underground. Where dolphins give each other names and where lightning can create glass in the sand. Where horses can read human emotions. Where rain has a smell before it even arrives and where the ocean can glow in the dark.

Here is the view from Cascade Park Vista - our cherished cherry blossom trees are in full glory and we are grateful to nature for a full show this Spring!

💛 Courage. Heart. Wisdom. 🧠

That’s what our team brings to our senior living communities every day. At our latest leadership workshop, we used Wizard of Oz characters to remind ourselves that even when we feel like an "imposter" behind the curtain, we have everything we need to lead effectively.

It takes courage to be vulnerable, and even more courage to lead through challenging times.

We are proud of our core team for embracing this journey together!

We welcomed 60 managers today for our Core Conference. Today’s topic? Imposter Syndrome. We used the metaphor of the Wizard of Oz’s main characters to exam our own insecurities and how to overcome them. We are so lucky that CSLS invests in making us stronger together by providing training and time to be together to learn and grow.

At 6th Avenue Senior Living, our staff came together for a fun team challenge: build the tallest free-standing tower using only spaghetti sticks, with one marshmallow required on top.
Watching the creativity, epic fails, quick recoveries, and ultimate victories was pure entertainment. More importantly, it was a great reminder that strong teams grow through collaboration, problem-solving, and being willing to try, miss, adjust, and try again.
The goal was bigger than the tower. It was about teamwork, creating a psychologically safe workplace, and reinforcing that innovation often comes through trial and error.
Because when people feel safe to contribute, learn, and grow together, we all become
