Do you know anyone who lives in the Town of South Prairie? It sits just southeast of Bonney Lake — East Pierce County's largest city — and faces many complex issues that require dedicated leadership. The Pierce County Council is accepting applications to fill two vacant seats on the South Prairie Town Council (Positions 3 and 5).

The South Prairie Town Council directly represents the needs and interests of the town's residents by establishing town policy, adopting the annual budget, and advocating for the community on regional boards. Applications are due by Friday, September 18, 2026, at 4:30 p.m.

Join us Saturday, June 20 at 3:00 PM for the ribbon cutting and opening of Pedals Pump Track in Buckley!

This exciting new park was made possible through a partnership with Pedals for the People, who generously funded and built the track for the Buckley community.

Come celebrate this incredible community investment and give the track a try!

Cycle Therapy will be on-site with bikes available and staff ready to help new riders get started.

Coming Up: Free camps to learn how to ride on the track begin June 24 and will be held Wednesdays from5:00–8:00 PM all summer long!
