This Sunday, we would like to invite you to join The 16th Annual MLK: Redeeming the Prophetic Vision community event in celebration and recognition of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This community based event will be hosting a virtual watch party of their presentation where members of our Black Student Union and the Asian and Pacific Islander Club will be highlighted for the work they have been doing in our community. Other community members will be speaking about Dr. King’s legacy and work that are not often portrayed in popular culture and media but are very relevant today. You can join the watch party here on Sunday, January 16th by finding the links in our bio! A reminder there are no classes and TCC is closed on Monday, January 17th, in honor of MLK Jr. Day.
On Tuesday, January 18th, we are offering the first 100 people who register to receive a “Swaggy” TCC logo beanie. Please stay tuned here or in your student email next Tuesday morning, January 18th, for the registration link drop. Beanies will be mailed out the following week on January 25th! We have 100 beanies to mail out - don’t miss yours in this limited edition offer!
