Puget Sound Fire is looking for a 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗣𝗠𝗢) 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿. Under the general direction of the Strategy, Planning, and Accreditation Deputy Chief, or designee, the incumbent is responsible for management of Puget Sound Fire’s Project Management Office and ensuring that all projects contribute to the operational effectiveness and strategic vision of Puget Sound Fire. They will be responsible for advising executive staff on governance policies and strategic oversight of project/program portfolio. The role requires proactive project management and oversight of the program across a diverse set of teams, with a focus on setting and enforcing portfolio frameworks, standards, and specific deliverables. The incumbent will supervise assigned staff and will ensure resources and tools are available to support staff in the ex*****on of tactical projects to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.

Puget Sound Fire offers a comprehensive benefits package including: Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance – free for employee-only coverage and family coverage for as low as $127 – $235 per month • Employer Contribution of 3% to 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan • Longevity Pay starting at 2% after 5 yrs. service • Paid Vacation- 96 hrs. earned in 1st year (accruals increase with years of service) • Sick Leave- 120hrs earned per year • 12 Observed Holidays each year in addition to 30hrs personal holidays (prorated based on hire date) • May cashout up 30hrs Pers Hol each year • Life insurance • Tuition Reimbursement Assistance.

ANEW has been awarded a $1.5 million YouthBuild grant from the U.S. Department of Labor to launch ANEW YouthBuild Pierce County!

The new program will serve young people ages 16–24, helping participants continue their education, learn hands-on construction skills, earn credentials, develop leadership skills, and prepare for apprenticeship and career opportunities.
