Get Involved with Labor This Tacoma Pride!
With Tacoma Pride around the corner, there is an upcoming volunteer opportunity this weekend!
Saturday, July 11, Pierce County Central Labor Council and the Washington State Labor Council will be gathering at The Willard School for a doorbelling launch focused on the Millionaires Tax and the No Hate in WA State initiative campaigns.
This event will focus on issue-based outreach, not candidate campaigns, and canvassers will be sent into a few concentrated districts in the area.
We’re hoping for a strong turnout from labor, allied organizations, elected officials, and community members who care about building a more fair, inclusive, and equitable Washington.
