We are so proud of our newest Firefighter 1 graduate, Daveion, and his classmates! They have graduated from the intense FF1 training to become proficient in assisting on fires and rescues. Great job graduates!!

Have you ever considered helping your community by volunteering? Have you considered IRFD? Pass a background check and answer when a call comes through and we can train you.

If fire isn’t your thing, maybe driving an engine and pulling levers or responding to medical emergencies sound better?
Summer is coming and that means more people on the river and help is always needed. We have some pretty good perks too! 😉

FIRE WEATHER WATCH is in effect for most of northeast Oklahoma Tuesday.

Locally Tulsa, Wagoner, Rogers, Adair, and Hughes Counties are now under burn bans, but I recommend NO OUTDOOR BURNING anywhere Tuesday as the fire danger will be high to near critical across the entire region.

Fire weather concerns increase Tuesday as warm, dry, and windy weather returns. Near critical fire spread rates will develop across parts of eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Make sure that any planned fires are properly extinguished by Tuesday morning and avoid behaviors that may inadvertently start a fire.
