Power is back on at Heritage!!

We are still without power at both Greenwood and Heritage. We have received word that it could take several hours for power to be restored.

Our students are safe and staff are continuing to monitor the situation. We also have a backup plan in place to have lunches delivered to both sites if needed.

We would like to encourage families to pick up their children if they are able. Any absences related to the storm and power outages will not count against them. Carlines and after school busses will run at the normal time for those students who remain.

After Care will be canceled today at Greenwood and Heritage.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this situation. We will continue to provide updates as we receive more information.

Thank you to everyone for making today such a fantastic 1st day of school! Tomorrow is late start Friday. If your family is able to take advantage of the extra morning time that is GREAT, but if you need to drop off at regular time our staff will be ready to greet you. Breakfast is over at 8:40 am and class starts at 9:00 am.

Medication Reminder for Parents/Guardians
If your child needs medication at school, please do not send the medication with your student. An adult must bring all medications to the school nurse and complete the required medication authorization forms before any medication can be administered at school. To help manage the chaos in the front office during dismissal, we kindly ask that you refrain from picking up your student in the office between 2:55 and 3:25 pm, unless it is an emergency. We suggest using the carline for pick-ups or waiting until after 3:25 pm. The carline moves quickly, ensuring a smoother process for everyone. Thank you for your help!
