🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CITY OF TAHOKA WATER CUSTOMERS 🚨

First Bank & Trust is now UMB Bank, and this change may affect customers who have their City of Tahoka water bill set up on automatic draft.

We are currently seeing automatic water payments being returned with an “Unknown Account” error, resulting in water bills not being paid.

If you currently have your water bill set up on automatic draft, please come by City Hall as soon as possible to update your routing/account information to prevent your payment from being returned or your account from becoming past due.

🦟 Mosquito Spraying Notice 🦟

The City will be spraying for mosquitoes Sunday, August 9th, around dusk in an effort to help reduce the mosquito population throughout town.

Residents are encouraged to take the following precautions: • Stay indoors if possible while spraying is taking place. • Bring pets, pet food, and water bowls indoors. • Close windows and doors during spraying. • Cover outdoor items such as children's toys, grills, and outdoor dining areas.

Thank you for your cooperation as we work to keep our community safe and comfortable. If weather conditions change, spraying may be delayed or rescheduled.

🚨 LANDFILL CLOSURE NOTICE 🚨

The City of Tahoka Landfill will be CLOSED for the remainder of today due to a power outage. The scales are not working properly, and unfortunately, we are unable to safely process landfill traffic without them.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding. ❤️

We will be doing cut-offs today at 1pm. If you have not paid your water bill please do so today by 1pm. There will be an additional $50 reconnect fee if you are disconnected.
