Pile burning resumes this week, with a goal of 21 acres in the western most part of the project area. Most igniting will take place Thursday, with limited ignitions and pile consolidation on Friday. Smoke may be present for up to 7 days following this pile burning operation, however incoming winds and precipitation should minimize impacts. Additional burning will take place over the winter as conditions allow.
