In recent Washington State elections, so many Dems ran in the top-two primary that vote-splitting locked the party out in November – despite most voters favoring Dems.

The fix? Add ranked choice voting.

Yesterday, Philadelphia's City Council passed a resolution in support of ranked choice voting!

It calls on the state legislature to pass a law letting cities & counties use RCV in local elections.

🔻Turnout dropped as much as 82%
🔻Turnout in the Senate GOP primary dropped from 2.2 million voters to 1.4 million
💰Runoffs cost taxpayers an estimated $23 million
