Talihina PWA crew is working on a meter that is giving them some problems! Therefore you may experience some water outages if you are in the areas of Veterans St, Jackson St and 9th St.
The utility crew is working on this issue as fast as they can and water should be back on as soon as their issues have been resolved. They did not have a ETA for me when I got the call regarding possible outages.

Talihina Public Works customers' bills have been delivered to the post office. Customers who have missed payments or paid more than their account's total will be updated as we move further along. The bills that went out are for the current usage only. You are more than welcome to pay more if you know you have past balances to pay off.

Talihina water billing has encountered a sewer pricing anomaly that I have just discovered. Interestingly, not all accounts were affected. I will need to collaborate with the software company on Monday to resolve this issue. As a result, the mailing of bills on Monday is contingent upon the necessary steps to correct this anomaly.

City Hall will be closed for a couple of hours today for training with new billing software to print the bills. At this time, a definite time has not been given. Please note that I will be unable to accept current payments until bills have been processed to avoid billing discrepancies in the new software. Thank you all for your patience.

Talihina water customers, please be advised that we are currently transitioning to new billing software. We kindly request that you refrain from inquiring about outstanding balances, as this information is not yet available. Once the data entry process is complete, we will proceed with printing and mailing the bills. Please be patient, as there may be a slight delay in the delivery of your bill, but rest assured that it will be dispatched via mail promptly.

The Talihina Town hall will be closed tomorrow starting at 10 AM to facilitate clerks' training with Sequoyah software on our new water billing software. We anticipate a closure of only a couple of hours, and it may be sporadic days and times through the next couple of weeks. Please be patient with us. Training on the new software will necessitate closing the office as needed for training purposes. On another note, bills are scheduled to be mailed out this month. We will endeavor to post updates as far in advance as possible and keep everyone informed of any closing days and times.
