The amount of community support that was shown yesterday in LeFlore County was overwhelming as Deputy Lemay was escorted home. The streets were lined with adults and children as they paid respect to the hero who gave the ultimate sacrifice protecting the citizens of LeFlore County. Please continue to pray for the family of Deputy Lemay, his co workers and friends, along with Wister PD and all the agencies that responded as they navigate through this difficult time. Deputy Lemay your sacrifice for the safety of this county will never be forgotten.

Deputy Thomas "Walker" LeMay was shot while responding to a request for a welfare check.
