This message is for students who will be attending Munford High School in August.

Dear Parents and Students,

I would like to welcome you to Munford High School. Our goal is to help make this transition as smooth as possible for you. In a month where we recognize kids for all of their hard work, today we had an opportunity to recognize a group of teachers, staff and an adopted staff member.

Mrs Jennifer Barnett is retireing after over 30 years in education. She will still be around coaching new teachers across the district but we wish Mrs. Barnett well as she enters semi-retirement.

Mrs. Stephanie Lacy was the 2023-2024 TCCHS Teacher of the Year. Mrs Lacy will be moving to Munford High School and we can look forward to hearing more great things from Mrs Lacy in the future.

Ms Stephanie Ashley was selected as the 2023-2024 Support Employee of the Year. Ms. Ashley will be moving to Sycamore Elementary next year and we know she will continue to be a beacon of light to the teachers and staff there.

AND

Mrs Joyce Parker who has been a part of our faculty for the better part of the past three years. Ms Parker is one of our substitute teachers who adopted us and we let her!! One of very few days that Ms Parker wasn’t scheduled to work, Ms Simpson called her to see if she was available and Ms Parker said “if y’all need me, I’m turning my car around and heading to the school!” Thank you Ms Parker for your loyalty to TCCHS and to the faculty, staff and students! We ❤️ you!!

We would like to shout out Mrs Angie Stevenson and her crew for making TC fun Day a success. Special thanks to Novette and Alicia Gooden for the sides, Mr Vic Wilson, on the grill, Ms. Reba Hale and Ms. Cece Morris for your helping hands and logistics, Coach Mahand on the 1's and 2's. And a special thanks to all of you that donated food, drinks, supplies, and their time, too many to name, but thank you all so much for your help with this event. The students, faculty, parents and community truly enjoyed it!!
