The school system and its schools have received various national and state awards including being selected as a US Department of Education Green Ribbon School System along with eight scho

ols selected as US Department of Education Green Ribbon Schools. Four of the system's schools have been selected as Bronze winners in US News and World Report's America's Best High Schools. Two of the system's schools have been selected as National School Change Award/National Innovation and Change Award recipients. The Talladega County School system is recognized nationally as a rural school system that is innovative due to its 1:1 student to digital device initiatives and its emphasis on authentic learning through project-based learning (PBL).

On behalf of the Talladega County Board of Education, we want to wish the Fayetteville Wolves Baseball Team the absolute best of luck as they open the AHSAA Class 1A State Championship Series today!

We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes, coaches, and the entire Fayetteville community. Your hard work, discipline, and sportsmanship have brought you to the biggest stage in Alabama high school baseball.

The first pitch flies today at 2:00 PM at Choccolocco Park in Oxford as the Wolves take on Hubbertville. We encourage everyone in our school district to wear their school colors today and send your loudest support to our boys!
