WATER MAIN REPAIRED

The City of Talladega would like to inform residents that the water main break at West Battle Street and McMillan Street has been successfully repaired.

We appreciate the patience and understanding of our residents while this work was being completed.

A special thank you to the City of Talladega Water & Sewer Department for their hard work and prompt response in restoring water service.

PUBLIC NOTICE — WATER MAIN REPAIR

The City of Talladega Water Department is currently working on a water main break at West Battle Street and McMillan Street.

Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the area due to ongoing utility work and possible traffic disruptions. If possible, please avoid the area and use an alternate route until the work has been completed.

We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation while our crews work to restore the water main.

Following the Talladega City Council meeting, All the Same Alabama, represented by founder Jaiden Bloodworth and Zoey Friddle, presented hydration supplies to the Talladega Police and Fire Departments.

TALLADEGA ARCHERY TEAM RECOGNIZED

Congratulations to the Talladega Parks and Recreation Archery Team, recognized during the Talladega City Council meeting for their outstanding performance at the 2026 ARPA State Archery Tournament in Dothan, Alabama!

Archery Team: Coach Thomas, Deanna Herron, Izabella Herron, Ivy Champion, Jeremiah Brasher, Levi Scaife, and Micheal Miller.

Joining the team for this special recognition were Mayor Ashton Hall, City Manager Danny Warwick, Parks and Recreation Director Summer Ammons, Council President Steve Dickerson, Councilman Chuck Keith, Councilman Hugh Sims, and Councilwoman Vicki Hall.

We congratulate these young archers and their coach on their hard work and dedication. Thank you for representing Talladega withpride!
