🏈 GAME DAY AT DOAK! 🏈

FSUPD was in full force for the first home game of the year, working alongside our partners to provide a safe and secure game-day experience for Seminole fans, visitors, and everyone attending the game.

From traffic operations to stadium security, our officers worked throughout the day to help keep everyone safe while ensuring fans could enjoy the excitement of Florida State football. ❤️💛

A special moment before kickoff as Chief Trumbower had the honor of delivering the game ball and helping officially kick off another season of Seminole football!

A huge thank you to all of our FSUPD officers and assisting agencies who worked behind the scenes and on the front lines to make game day a success. Your dedication and teamwork do not go unnoticed!

Heads Up on Campus! 🚶‍♂️🚗

Our FSUPD Officers are out on campus making contacts with students and helping spread the word about our Heads Up Campaign! 👀

The goal is simple: promote traffic and pedestrian safety and help everyone get where they’re going safely.

Drivers—slow down, stay alert, and watch for pedestrians.
Pedestrians—stay aware of your surroundings, use crosswalks, and keep your head up and your phone down. 📵

A huge thank you to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for the generous donation of speed trailers to the Florida State University Police Department!

These trailers will be a valuable resource in helping us manage traffic and pedestrian flow, and enhance public safety during events and throughout our campus.

🚨 DRIVE SOBER OR GET PULLED OVER 🚨

The Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign begins August 19th and runs through Labor Day.

As we head into the final weeks of summer, we’re reminding everyone that impaired driving can have life-changing consequences. If you’ve been drinking, make a plan before you get behind the wheel—designate a sober driver, use a rideshare, or find another safe way home.

Our officers will be working throughout the campaign to keep our campus and community safe and to remove impaired drivers from the road.

🍻 If you drink, don’t drive.
🚗 Plan ahead.
🛑 Drive sober. Arrive alive.
