Congratulations to the Cancer Knockout Foundation's 2022 Teen Caregiver Scholarship recipient, Ms. Nia-Sarai Perry. Nia's mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2020. She and her mother faced the challenge of fighting cancer through a global pandemic. As her mother's only caregiver, Nia still was able to maintain her "A" average in school and successfully complete her leadership responsibilities as the Sophomore Class President.

Nia will be attending Spelman College and plans to major in Psychology on a pre-law track. Nia stated "This scholarship will go toward my goal of becoming an attorney to help other marginalized groups seek justice in their time of need.

Onward and Upward Nia! The CKO foundation is here for you, and we wish you much success. Continue to lead by example.
