Gail and I (well, mainly Gail cuz I’m a wuss…) cut the grass at the cemetery today. Still needs w**deating (Gail tried but her w**d eater said “nope”) and there’s a large limb that has fallen and needs to be moved. Any volunteers?

Hey Everyone!! We are still here! Gail and I ordered a few headstones for the unmarked graves we verified with ground penetrating radar a few years back. We have placed them in concrete and would like to have a small ceremony when we install them in the cemetery. How about a cemetery clean-up, headstone placement, and an All Saints prayer/candle lighting (and, of course, food and fellowship afterwards!) the weekend of Oct 30th? P.S. the stones look better after we cleaned them!

I met up with a friend who was meeting others to help clean Budapest Cemetery in Budapest, Georgia, a town that only exists because the cemetery is still there. At the end, they lit candles to honor those who call this their final resting place. Budapest, Georgia

Allen's Florist has joined A Night In Hungary as a sponsor. Thank you Tommy. Tommy will be creating the center pieces for the tables for our event.

We have set "A Night in Hungary" ticket prices at $40. The event will be heavy appetizers, desserts and wine. Remember, this is a fundraiser for the Budapest Cemetery! And we are looking for volunteers to make Hungarian appetizers, casseroles and/or desserts in lieu of buying a ticket (bring food worth $80 and get 2 tickets, etc.) We would like this to be as authentic as possible so please consider showing us your culinary skills!! Tickets will be available for purchase soon.
