Our thoughts and prayers are with the Carrollton Police Department and the family of Officer Krish during this heartbreaking time.

He is healed and home with Jesus. While we are heartbroken on earth, what a celebration Dustin is having in Heaven.

Chief Richards put it best…..Dustin was the best of us. He was unwavering in his duty, courageous, and faithful until the end.

Please, please continue to pray for the love of his life, Emily, Sgt. Chad Krish (his brother), and his entire family…..blood and blue. 💙

To know him was to love him.

“Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13

We extend our gratitude to Senior Chaplain Joey Meeks from the Paulding County Sheriff's Office for delivering invaluable instruction on Officer Resilience. This multi-jurisdictional training class, hosted by the Tallapoosa Police Department, examined the effects of trauma that officers may encounter in the line of duty. The class provided guidance on seeking support and resources for managing traumatic experiences. We are deeply committed to this initiative, seeking to reassure officers that they are not alone and that help is available.

This morning, law enforcement agencies, including the Tallapoosa Police Department, the Northwest Georgia Drug Task Force, Haralson County Sheriff's Office, Paulding County Sheriff's Office, and Paulding County SWAT, collaborated on a police operation on High Street, in down town Tallapoosa. The operation involved the ex*****on of a search warrant at a residence known for narcotics sales, resulting in the discovery of additional narcotics and the arrest of three individuals, who were transported to the Haralson County Jail. The case remains ongoing. Law enforcement agencies are working together to eliminate similar establishments in our areas, ensuring a safer environment for our communities. We appreciate the efforts of all agencies involved this morning and those who have contributed to the ongoing case.
