The Board of Trustees for the Autauga Prattville Public Library has taken opportunity to fire the Library Director Andrew Foster from behind closed doors. After the on staff Library workers closed the library following this decision, the Chairman of the board o trustees fired 4 library staff members.

We are sure more information will come of this, but it is apparent that the whims of politically charged board members have taken priority over the good of the overall community. We call on the board to reinstate the fired library director and staff members, and even further, to resign for acting in such bad faith.

On Saturday, July 8, we will be holding an election finance and treasurer training event at Pizza Perfect located at 428 Coliseum Blvd
in Montgomery, AL, from noon to 4pm.

This event is a great opportunity for you to meet other local members and to gain more knowledge on how to effectively manage finances for your campaigns and affiliates, as well as how to comply with Alabama campaign finance laws.

Additionally, this event will also serve as an initial meeting in our effort to form a Montgomery County affiliate.

Please mark your calendar and plan to attend this event. It will be a great opportunity to learn, network and contribute to the growth of our
party, as well as support a locally owned business.
