The Library power is back on and we will be open regular hours, closing at 6 pm. Summer Program kick-off is tomorrow! We are soo excited!

Attention patrons! The library is closed due to no power. Hopefully it will be back up sometime today but could be out tomorrow also. If there is no power, we will delay summer program kick off! Please call library to see if we are back up!

Summer Program starts next Week! We are so excited! This years program is going to be a ROARING good time! If you haven't registered come by and fill out the form. It begins June 3, The 10:30 AM class is full as of 12:00 today. The 2:00 PM is about 1/2 full, both classes are the same.

We are also pleased to announce that Carole Carson will be have art camp at the library! Attached is a photo of what she is offering. You must contact her, as the classes are limited and there is a charge. We have a flyer at the library if you want to come pick one up.

Late opening tomorrow, Tuesday, May 12th. The Library should open at 10:00 AM. Ms. Margaret is in Atlanta for a library conference and Ms. Laura has an early morning Dr. appointment.

The Native Flute making class was a HUGE success! My adult signees didn't show up, except one, but the homeschool kids did. They learned so much history, asked questions, and had so much fun!

Easter egg hunt on Wednesday was a success! This is the first time in 15+ years that I have been hiding Eggs at the library that ALL the eggs were found! I hid 211 eggs plus 2 golden eggs in both the children’s room and the main library! 426 eggs. The kids had a blast! Don’t forget the library is closed Friday and Saturday this week! Stay tuned for another big announcement on Monday!

Come join our Native Flute Making, April 14,2026 at 10:00 AM led by Charlie Mato-Toyela. This is a free event, but limited to 20 people, so you must register!

Congratulations to our youngest quilter and her finished quilt! She did an awesome job. I did not pay enough attention to the quilt pattern she chose until after she had cut it out that it was more of an intermediate pattern. Charlotte was a trooper and stuck it out! She learned to use a seam ripper, sew a straight stitch, and never complained at all. I'm very proud of her. Check with the library and get on the schedule to make your own quilt beginning in late September.
