Meskwaki Child Care Program

Meskwaki Child Care Program The Meskwaki Child Care Program is designed to specifically help eligible Native Americans families to pay for child care costs.

This voucher program is available annually (October through September). Availability is on a first come, first served basis. To be eligible for the Meskwaki Child Care Program, parents must be working or attending an approved training or education program, have an income under the programs limits according to family size, and have a child who needs care and is under 13 years of age or under 19 yea

rs of age if the child has special needs. Applications are available at Meskwaki Family Services. To complete your application you must have the following: tribal identification, completed application, previous year tax return.

Family Services Child Care Program: Public Hearing

PUBLIC HEARING

Meskwaki Child Care Program will be having a public hearing on November 15, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Tribal Center Snack Bar. This public hearing is in regards to the new fiscal year that goes from May 1, 2023 to September 30, 2025.

Annual Pool Party - June 21

Meskwaki Family Services and the Meskwaki Child Care Program will be having our Annual Pool Party on Tuesday, June 21st from 8:00pm-10:00pm at the Tama-Toledo Aquatic Center!
**All children must be accompanied by an adult.

> Pizza will be provided
> Door prizes for those in attendance (must be present to win)
> Concessions will be available

Meskwaki Family Services Fall Festival

Grab & Go Pumpkin and Goody-Bag Pickup

Meskwaki Family Services is hosting a fall festival for community members and their children. Come ā€œpickā€ a pumpkin and a goody bag for your child!

This will be a grab-and-go event. There will be large pumpkins to choose from and a children’s goody bag available while supplies last. **Please limit one per person and to be mindful of social distancing recommendations.

ATTENTION to those who participated in the Virtual Walk/Run Event for Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Awareness Month:

Bags along with shirts were delayed. We were hoping to have everything available for pickup by April 30, 2021 however, we are now shooting for next week with the last day for pick up being May 7, 2021. Be on the lookout for additional posts next week to provide more detailed information. Thank you for being patient!

Meskwaki Child Care Program RISE - Iowa and Meskwaki Nation Child Support Services are hosting a Virtual Walk/Run Event for Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Awareness Month in April!

The Virtual Walk/Run will be held during April 19th through the 23rd, meaning you can complete your walk/run anytime during those dates. *More details to come!

The first 100 participants to sign-up will receive a goodie bag! Registration deadline is April 5th.

How to register:

1.) You can register by opening the camera app on your phone and hovering over the QR code (top left of flyer), it will direct you to a website on your phone where you can register online! Or use link below!
