Every year for children's day of the Meskwaki Annual Powwow MNCSS hosts a Kisko vs Tokani challenge! Big thank you to Wendy with Meskwaki media for the pictures!

Kisko and Tokani represent the two traditional opposing societal halves within the Meskwaki (Sac & Fox) Nation, dividing the tribal community into two complementary groups for ceremonial, social, and competitive activities.

This year we had a small but mighty group of kids join us for best two out of three games of Pass the Nebi (water)!

While we haven't done the best at keeping track of who has won prior to 2022 but since then we can say Kiskos have been the winners!

So, for another year Kiskos have bragging rights! Better luck next year tokanis!

Also, what better way to welcome in two new staff members to MNCSS than to join in the fun! Welcome to our case manager, Joy and case worker, Nikki!

Today's information is the collections for fiscal year 2025. Tribal programs across the country collected $51 million to support children.
