Voters ended the chaos...almost. We have one more election to go. Jimmy Glover advanced from the August 18 primary and will face one remaining challenger on November 3. Fair Governance for Florida is committed to Jimmy crossing the finish line.

Sarasota voters have spoken—and the School Board runoff is officially set.

Jimmy Glover advanced from the August 18 primary and will face one remaining challenger on November 3. Fair Governance for Florida is committed to Jimmy crossing the finish line.

A father of four Sarasota public-school graduates, longtime community volunteer, and experienced community leader, Glover is running on a simple idea: Sarasota’s school leaders need to listen and focus on students.

His priorities are clear:

📚 Strong early literacy so every child has the foundation to succeed
👩‍🏫 Respect and support for teachers who do the work every day
🎓 Career and workforce opportunities that prepare students for life after graduation
🧠 Student mental health and school safety that put the whole child first
🤝 Collaboration to bring professionalism, stability, and common sense back to the School Board

On August 18th, Sarasota County voters can remove all political actors from the School Board.

Michelle Pozzie has a proven record of being an extremist political activist. She supported the extremists trying to take over and privatize Sarasota Memorial Hospital and was heavily involved with pushing the Moms for Liberty agenda in our schools. She's not running to improve education. She's running to push her extremist agenda. That won't stop if she's elected.

Her opponent Beth Mayberry, is a long-time North Port resident who raised her kids and now her grandkids in Sarasota Public schools. Beth is a mother, grandmother, former teacher, and certified finanical planner. The contrast could not be more clear. Vote August 18th to end the circus, once and for all.

Can Sarasota trust what School Board Candidate Michelle Pozzie says?

❌ YMCA: She claimed to be the Executive Director overseeing a multimillion-dollar budget. She was actually the Recreational Gymnastics Director.

❌ Homeschooling: She stated multiple times on video that she homeschooled her children. During the campaign she claimed they attended public school.

❌ COVID: She proclaimed at a school board meeting students were forced to wear yellow lanyards when exempt from masking. The district said no such policy existed.

Sarasota deserves honesty—not shifting stories depending on what sounds best during an election.

August 18. Vote for the truth.
