Tamms Fire/ Rescue Station 1 is located at 190 Railroad Street in extreme Southern Illinois in Alexander County. We cover a 98 square mile of zone which include the Village of Tamms, Township of Sandusky , and the Township of Elco. The mission of Tamms Fire/ Rescue is to protect life and property through professional services delivered with compassion and integrity. ORGANIZATIONAL VALUES:

🚨 SILVER ALERT 🚨

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing endangered adult.

Benjamin E. Haslett, a 79-year-old white male, left his residence on Spencer Street in Mounds, Illinois, on June 11, 2026, at approximately 5:45 PM.

Mr. Haslett was driving a black 2007 Honda Ridgeline bearing Illinois registration plate .

Mr. Haslett suffers from dementia and cardiac-related health issues and has not taken his prescribed medications. He is believed to possibly be traveling toward Percy, Illinois.

If you have seen Mr. Haslett, his vehicle, or have any information regarding his whereabouts, please contact the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office immediately at (618) 748-9124 or dial 911.
