American families are being torn apart, harmed by the very system designed to protect them.

If either party manipulates, is abusive or is absent then those situations should be addressed on the merits and dealt with accordingly. In many cases one parent is immediately targeted as a deadbeat by CPS and the family court system to increase the amount of matching Title 4-D funds coming into a state. Simply put we believe that the same rules should apply to all parties equally with each case and situation judged on its merits. Instead of the current system focuses on expediency and the parent more likely able to pay child support rather than the child’s best interest. The best interests of the child must be "a primary consideration" in all actions and decisions concerning a child and must be used to resolve conflicts between different rights.
