Planning Commission - Hillsborough County The local planning agency of the cities of Tampa, Plant City, Temple Terrace and Hillsborough County.

We serve the citizens of Hillsborough County, City of Plant City, City of Temple Terrace, and the City of Tampa by providing a vision for improving the quality of life. We are an independent, consolidated planning agency, led by 10 citizen appointees from all 4 local jurisdictions. We promote and coordinate comprehensive long-range planning, growth-management, transportation, and environmental protection, as we make our recommendations to the local jurisdictions.

We want to hear from the community about where different future uses may or may not fit in the I-4 Corridor, and what should be protected, avoided, or considered along the way. This second round of public meetings kicks off next week with a virtual meeting, followed by two in-person meetings where you can:

• Learn more about the Urban Expansion Area Planning Study in the I-4 Corridor
• Learn more about what we've heard from the community so far
• Participate in interactive exercises to share feedback that will help guide the next phase of the study
