We have made some changes to ensure the safety & health of our customers & staff. Here is a list of the things you need to know before you visit us:

◾ Masks and temperature checks will be required for entry.
◾ Wear a face mask over your nose and mouth, and practice social distancing throughout your visit.
◾ Visits are limited to one hour to maximize the number of people we can serve each day.
◾ Children under 17 are not permitted without a parent.
◾ Food or drinks are not permitted in the buildings at this time.
◾ Do not bring furniture into the library.
◾ Study Rooms and Meeting Rooms are unavailable for use.
◾ Book donations will not be accepted at this time.

As part of Hillsborough County's overall phased approach, we are working to restore library service to our customers in a gradual and safe manner.

Beginning Monday, June 8, 2020, book drops will be open Monday-Friday at all locations to accept returns.

Your returned items will be placed into quarantine and will appear as “checked out” on your account. They will be checked in when safety and staffing permit. This will not affect the number of items you are able to borrow. Items can be returned to any location regardless of where you borrowed them from.

In an abundance of caution, the State Department of Education gave the directive to close all schools in Florida and cancel all extracurricular programs until Monday, March 30th. This also affects our school partnership libraries (The Egypt Lake Partnership Library and the Norma and Joseph Robinson Partnership Library @ Sulphur Springs) who will also close during this time.

All other Tampa-Hillsborough Public Library locations will remain open at this time. hcplc.org/locations
