It was a poetic ending to Summer Reading at the Jimmie B Keel Regional Library, where future bards and makers of verse crafted their own poems by emphasizing phrases and words in available texts.

We went under the sea at our "Mermaid Eggs" program at the Jimmie B Keel Regional Library where families created their own colorful mermaid egg after learning about the many versions of the fish-tailed legend around the world.
