Beth Wilt, assistant professor of instruction, is helping make sure the voices of educators are heard.

She recently led Florida's statewide team of educators at the Special Education Legislative Summit in Washington, D.C., with the Council for Exceptional Children. Alongside educators from across the state, she met with members of Florida's congressional delegation to advocate for students with disabilities, their families and the professionals who support them.

We're proud to see her representing the College of Education and helping elevate the voices of educators in conversations about federal education policy. πŸ‘

Looking for hands-on experience? πŸ’ͺ

Our Exercise Science and Kinesiology (ESK) student, Daniela, did just that through her internship with Power Design. During her internship, she led a class called Stretch and Flexibility while learning alongside experienced wellness professionals.

Opportunities like this help ESK students gain real-world experience and apply what they learn in the classroom as they prepare for successful careers.
