Florida’s families depend on libraries for storytime, summer reading, homework help, books, Wi-Fi, and safe places to learn. Amendment 3 could put those services at risk.

Keep Libraries Funded!

Across Florida, residents are struggling with rising costs. Property tax cuts may sound like relief, but deep reductions in local revenue could leave communities with fewer of the services people rely on every day, including public libraries.

Amendment 3 would reduce the local funding that helps keep libraries open, staffed, stocked, connected, and serving the public. Families, seniors, students, job seekers, small business owners, and people of all backgrounds could feel the impact through shorter hours, fewer programs, smaller collections, less technology access, delayed projects, new fees, or possible branch closures.

That is why library foundations, Friends groups, and library supporters across Florida are asking voters to get the facts, take the pledge, and vote No on Amendment 3 to Keep Libraries Funded and Save Our Library Services.
