The Council is composed of 17 voting members that include: the directors of each Gulf states fish and wildlife department; the Regional Administrator of NOAA Fisheries Service; eleven private citizens who are knowledgeable regarding conservation and management, or the commercial or recreational harvest of the Gulf resource. Ladies and gentlemen... it's time to announce the winners for each category of our 50th Anniversary Photo Contest! We'd like to thank all 110 people who submitted a total of 181 photos.
For the Recreational, Commercial, Historical, Habitat, and Coastal Community categories, Council members and staff voted on their favorite, while you all determined the Best Catch category winner.

For our FINAL matchup in our 50th Anniversary Photo Contest, it is time to decide the official Best Catch. These two catches have made it through two rounds of matchups and while we wish they could both win, we need to determine a winner!

Reminder - there are FOUR ways to vote:
