🔥 COMMERCIAL FIRE RESPONSE 🔥

This afternoon, responded to a two-alarm commercial structure fire in Tampa.

First-arriving crews encountered heavy fire conditions and immediately began a fire attack. Additional resources were requested as the worked from both the ground and the air to bring the fire under control.

🚒 The fire was declared under control in less than one hour.

✅ No civilians or were injured.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

A new Wawa opened off of Highway 301 near Station 3, and to celebrate, they hosted a HCFR vs. HCSO Hoagie Building Competition. 🥖🚒🚓

While we may not have taken home the trophy this time, we had a great time competing with our partners at HCSO and enjoying some friendly rivalry. Congratulations to the winners! 🏆

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue is continuing to grow, and we’re looking for dedicated single-cert Paramedics to join our innovative Peak Rescue Division. This specialized division was created to meet the increasing demand for EMS services in one of Florida’s fastest-growing communities.

💵 Strong Starting Salaries
• Lieutenant (for qualifying experienced Paramedics): $63,060.35
• Paramedic: $55,828.41
