Every day, our Water Resources team delivers more than 78 million gallons of clean, safe drinking water to more than 750,000 residents. That could fill about 312 million emotional support water bottles—but who's counting?

We've got a road closure this weekend, Hillsborough! Find out all the details ⤵️🚗

Heads up, Tampa!

US 301 will be closed under I‑75 between Harney Rd and Williams Rd from Friday night, July 31, until Monday morning, August 3, weather permitting.

Message boards and temporary signage will assist motorists traveling through the detour route using Harney Road and Williams Road. Sections of US 301, including side streets and driveways, will remain open to local traffic during this weekend road closure.

Motorists are reminded to slow down, stay alert, and drive safely through the work zone.

Little sisters with big voices! 🗣️💚

5-year-old Sloane and her 4-year-old, Bellamy, teamed up with our Parks and Rec Team to help protect a local osprey population.

Because of their influence, two new osprey nesting platforms were created out of an existing utility pole at our newly renovated Cross Creek Park.

Sloane and Bellamy helped us officially cut the ribbon on the Cross Creek Rec Center and we’re happy to announce an osprey has already made a home on the new nesting platform! 🪺

Say hello to Hillsborough's newest centenarian! 💯🎊

Mrs. Eugenia Gutierrez celebrated her 100th birthday in true Roaring Twenties fashion at the Wimauma Senior Center last week.

In her 100 years, Eugenia welcomed thousands of babies into the world as an Obstetrics and Gynecology nurse, became a mother to six children, grandmother to 16 grandchildren, great-grandmother to 32 great-grandchildren, great-great-grandmother to seven great-great-grandchildren, and visited every country in Central America!

Her secret? Optimism and finding joy in life's simple blessings. ❤️
