The Mitchell Elementary PTA implements programs to engage families in student success as well as helping to provide school improvements. PTA initiatives are made possible by funds raised at events like the annual Fun Run, by generous business sponsorships and by our volunteers which are primarily parents, teachers and members of our community. Some of our events and programs include: Teacher Appre

ciation, Uniform Exchange, RIF Book Distribution, Heritage Night, Family Art Show, Fall Fest, Family Skate Night, Literacy Week, Wellness Programs, Bobcat Buddies, Movie Nights, Fall and Spring Bookfairs, Community Outreach, New Family events and Mini-Grants for Teachers. The Mitchell PTA is open to all parents, grandparents, teachers, friends, local business and community leaders! All members are appreciated regardless of whether or not you choose to volunteer. The 5th Grade Class of 2026 has left their legacy on Mitchell with a practical & wonderful gift. They filled in the dirt area between the court and the cafeteria sidewalk so now it matches the rest of the school yard and the best part…no more tripping! 🙌❤️
